Senior National Account Manager – Grocery

c£60k (Dependent on experience) plus car, bonus and benefits

Central London based (c2-3 days in office)

 

Client:

  • Senior National Account Manager opportunity to join a category leading Health & Nutrition business where their brand holds number 1 status within their category!
  • This established brand has strong distribution within the Grocery channel, backed by strong consumer metrics and an exciting NPD pipeline, so are now (post lockdown) well positioned for strong growth!
  • You will be joining a high-performing & passionate team with the opportunity to deliver significant growth across a portfolio of UK Grocery customers

 

Role:

  • We are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to help manage and grow their UK Grocery customers
  • As Senior National Account Manager you will have full responsibility for a portfolio of Grocery customers (Tesco & Morrisons OR Sainsburys & Waitrose) and work with the Commercial Director in driving best practice and improved sales performance
  • You will be responsible for shaping and delivering successful JBPs and Promotional Strategies as well as managing account budgets and investment.
  • This role will offer a high level of autonomy with lots of opportunity to hone your commercial capabilities and you’ll have license to think and behave creatively to deliver growth across your accounts, the business and also yourself!

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • You will be a driven Senior National Account Manager with a strong background of success selling branded food & drink products into the major UK Grocers
  • Someone who has a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial nature; you have a track record of identifying and acting upon growth opportunities
  • Craving a new challenge and reward of the SME environment, you’ll thrive with responsibility, independence, acting at pace but also getting stuck in!
  • Finally, the anticipated progression from this role will be Account Controller in c18-24 months so someone with a growth mindset and will demonstrate both future leadership qualities
